It’s a great way to make friends. I’ve met so many awesome people because of this game, all in the pursuit of getting better! Like others have said, there’s leagues and these are friendly environments where you’ll see the same faces often. Other than that just playing at your local pool hall you could always challenge random people there and befriend the other locals.
